Palmhof Chalets offers comfortable accommodation in a small oasis near the Orange River Valley in Kakamas. The accommodation includes self-catering units.

We offer 23 self-catering units, each with its own private entrance, parking bay, amenities and bedding. The units are comfortable with air conditioners a must in all of the rooms. All of the units have braai facilities and selected DSTV channels.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we offer a laundry service for your convenience and security throughout the night. The property has a swimming pool where guests can cool off on those warm summer days. The lapa area also has braai facilities.

Kakamas is rich in natural wonders. The majestic Augrabies Falls is situated only 38 km from Palmhof Chalets. Activities in the Augrabies Falls National Park include hiking, night drives, canoeing, 4X4-ing and birdwatching. The area also offers vineyard tours and wine tasting at the private wine cellars.

Just a pity I booked a double bed but unfortunately I only find out there is none available on my arrival, But the stay was nice.
