Collett House and Lavender Cottage is situated on a large property in Clarens and offers a peaceful holiday destination.

Collett House is the main residence and can comfortably sleep six adults. It has a large living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The patio and entertainment area have braai facilities.

Lavender Cottage can sleep four people making it ideal for larger groups that need some extra sleeping space. The cottage is fully self-catering.

Mountain bikes may be hired on request. Parking and laundry facility are available.

Superb Weekend Stay by

We had a group of 10 people stay in the main house & the cottage. There was not one complaint from anyone in the group.

Wolfgang made our stay really fantastic. 10/10

Lovely holiday home! by

We stayed at Collett House for 7 nights over the December holiday period.
This is such a lovely holiday home with everything you need in the house. The patio area overlookS the mountains and there's a small garden area for kids to play.
Will definitely recommend Collett House to anyone!

Spacious, clean, comfortable by

Only stayed for one night, could easily have stayed longer

Lavender Cottage by

So nice and peaceful,the owner can cut away some tree branches that is in front of the beautiful view.Cushions very hard. The inside very spacious and cool.Some small tables next to the couches can work and maybe a shower door as the bathroom was under water every time we showered.Overall I can really recommend the place. Very nice and peaceful.

Room for improvement (Rock cottage 2) by

Although our stay was comfortable and Wolfgang was very accommodating we had some issues with hot water in the shower not being consistent and dropping out halfway through your shower. There was no microwave in the room to reheat the food that we had brought with. There was a mix-up with our booking, but Wolfgang swiftly made a plan and it was sorted out by the time we arrived. On a whole it was a very pleasant stay.
