Vaalvlei Farm is situated close to the picturesque town of Stanford and is a little piece of trout fishing paradise in a mountain and farmland setting. This working farm with vineyards, goats and springbuck offers awesome mountain views.

Aloe Cottage is a rustic self-catering cottage with a peaceful backdrop of vineyards and farmland. It is simple and unpretentious with comfortable furnishings and features a romantic open fireplace.

Experience excellent fly-fishing for rainbow trout, brown trout and bass in two spring-fed lakes, while the kids can fish for bluegill and tilapia. Other activities include wine tasting, bird watching and mountain biking.
