Alex's Nest is a warm, comfortable place where you are fed can rest and grow physically and spiritually. This is what you will experience at Alex's Nest. The Nest is situated only 5 km from OR Tambo International Airport and one kilometer from one of the largest shopping centers in Africa.

This unique Nest comprises four comfortable rooms: The Alex suite; luxury room with en-suite bathroom hydro-spa bath and shower. The Carolina suite; luxury room with en-suite bathroom double shower with ceiling heater. The Twin suite; two rooms sharing one spacious bathroom with bath and shower.

All rooms are equipped with DSTV, coffee station, heater and luxury bedding. The heart of the Nest is the hospitable open planned kitchen, where delicious breakfasts and light meals are prepared and may be enjoyed from the privacy of your room, dining room or pool deck, while enjoying the garden.

Gerrie and Salome are there to welcome you to their unique residence, where the unpretentious interior gives the Nest a cosy atmosphere. Here you will enjoy the best breakfast ever.

Besonderede plekkie by

Weereens kan ek net baie baie dankie se,vir u gasvryheid by Alex Nest. Dit is regtig n besonderede plekkie om tuis te gaan. Om elke more wakker te word,met die pragtige geluide van buite,voels,eende ens. U het ons baie tuis en op ons gemak laat voel. Ek kan met eerlikheid se, ek sal enige persoon aanraai om van u Gastehuis gebruik te maak. Ek myself en gesin sal defnitief weer van u gastehuis gebruik maak. Dit is n ervaring wat elke mens sal beleef wat daar tuis gaan. Weereens baie dankie,en n voorspoedige 2010 word u toegewens. De Lange Gesin

Enjoyed my stay at Alex's Nest.  Staff were pleasant and I appreciated the assistance of the owner when I was feeling poorly.    The accommodation was comfortable and facilities were good.  I was perfectly satisfied with my stay and should the need for a B&B in the area arise in the future, I will have no hesitation in returning.  Thank you all at Alex's Nest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex's nest. We stayed in the Carolina suite. We enjoyed the privacy of the room as well as the open space environment from our room door. It was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. It is situated in a safe neighbourhood and conveniently close to the shopping centres. A lot of detail was put into plating and serving our breakfasts. Salome will forever be remembered for serving us a delicious breakfast in the privacy of our rooms on a Sunday morning. Thank you Gerrie, Salome and Trafina. We will return :-).

What an amazing B&B - it is more like going to stay with family. From the time we arrive till we left we felt at home. The breakfast was scrumptious and taste - Wow the coffee excellent. We definitely will be back and will recommend Alex's Nest to our friends.
