Jaya's Place

We have 4 self-contained cottages located on an active 18-acre permaculture essential oils, fruit and vegetable production small holding. All cottages are fully equipped.

Guests are welcome to stroll around the spacious gardens to view the local seasonal floral indigenous plantings, orchards and farm animals. Visit the nursery and shop on site to buy indigenous trees, shrubs and ground covers and essential oil plants, herbs and other farm produce.

The endangered Cape Parrot flocks cavort in the trees above the cottages in the early morning and evening on their way to and from their feeding sites up to 200km away. For avid birders we mention that we have identified at least 20 bird species in the garden- so bring your birding equipment with you.
