The Blue Crane Bed and Breakfast offers high-quality accommodation in a lovely environment, in the quaint little town of Somerset East.

This centrally located Victorian house consists of five guest rooms. The four bed and breakfast rooms are fully furnished for a comfortable and luxurious stay, with each fitted with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. A self-catering flat is also available, and comes equipped with a double bed, sleeper couch, en-suite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

Breakfast is served in the dining area, after which guests can relax in the lounge area and socialise over morning coffee. Guests are encouraged to savour the beauty of the magical garden, and relax on the patio with its peaceful surroundings. Braai facilities and secure parking are also available.

Everything was neat and clean. The bathroom had a bath as big as a "swimming pool". So nice and relaxing. We had a huge breakfast and a friendly lady made as feel at home. Thank you very much Rika.

garden hide-away by

The neat little self-catering unit was just the thing for us and our small dog, who enjoyed easy the access to the garden. I advise visitors to tell the owner, on check-in, what time they will be leaving as we and another couple had to phone her to come and take our money!

Disappointing by

The bedroom was lovely and clean, but the res was just terrible not even a wine glass. We were very disapointed they could make it such a lovely place. If only the owner could have met us when we booked in. In The driveway was a child blowup swimming pool and blanket, the braai area had a washing line that was full of blankets and washing that we had to asked to be removed. We were just very disipionted.
