The Walden Suites

Below Lion's Head, in a quiet, sunny and protected area with fantastic views onto the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and Table Bay, lies this stylish, elegant villa built in 1923. House Walden was named by its first owner, after the autobiography novel Walden from the American author Henry David Thoreau, and was converted into a guest house by the current owner in 2003.

The comfortable arrangement emphasizes the special ambience of the house and offers individual requirements for guests as well as the equivalent of a restful stay in Cape Town. We offer four Sea View Rooms and two Mountain View Rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Features include a 17-metre swimming pool and terraces to enjoy the sunshine.
