Allendale

Allendale is a working livestock farm in the Eastern Cape, located in the beautiful district of Graaff-Reinet, the gem of the Karoo.

By offering self catering, dinner bed and breakfast accommodation in our family unit, we make it possible for people from the city to enjoy the quiet of the Karoo. At quite a reasonable cost this is the ideal place to unwind & experience the vastness of the veld.

Guests at Allendale have their own private entrance and shaded parking.

The unit consist of a spacious double room and an open-plan lounge area with a kitchen. The lounge area also doubles up as sleeping space for two more people, children or adults alike. The en-suite bathroom consist of a spacious shower, a basin and toilet.

The veranda area is ideal for just relaxing, or a braai while watching the sunset.

Once you are at Allendale, you can enjoy the 10 000 ha of farm through going for short walks or for the more energetic, mountain biking in Jeep track or hiking into the mountains to name a few. The homestead and garden area gives lots of space for children to run around or enjoy the jungle gym and play area's. The brave and adventurous can enjoy a swim in our cement dam used mainly to irrigate the garden.
