Stepping into this historic 150-year-old Karoo cottage, you are reminded for a moment of a time when folk sat on the vine-covered patio gazing at the stars glinting behind mountain silhouettes and listening to the gushing of the water in the channel and chiming church bells. This quaint cottage with its original wooden floors and high ceilings has been lovingly restored offers a very comfortable stay. It is central and within strolling distance to the restaurant of your choice or simply exploring the picturesque streets. The cottage consists of three bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests in one queen-size bed, a double bed and twin single beds. There are also two bathrooms, one with an original iron bath and another with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, mini stove and oven, and tea, coffee and rusks are supplied. Off-street parking is available. Come and enjoy a true Karoo home. Become yet another one of our happy guests.

Property well equipped and lots of room. Good location and all we needed Amazing how cool the old karoo built houses are inside.

We loved the central location of the house just off the main road, but within walking distance form everything. The kitchen is well equipped and outside one has a big table on covered courtyard with braai facilities. Good quality bedding. Shower can do with a door; floor area not suitable for showering without a door. House will probably be cool in the summer, cold in winter.
