The Cycad Stay is a charming, nestled in Mthatha, in a quiet and secure neighbourhood. From the spacious rooms, equipped with all essential amenities, to the lovely gardens with a serene atmosphere, our guests are sure to feel right at home.

Our rooms are spacious and with an African modern touch. Each room has a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette area, toiletries, and a flat screen TV with DStv. In addition, guests have access to Wi-Fi and secure onsite parking.

This part of the country remains seeped in the old traditions and women still wear ochre-coloured dresses with turbans, wire bracelets and white clay on their faces and bodies. Young boys still observe the coming-of-age ceremony called Khwetha and women carry jars of water on their heads. Domestic animals dawdle along the road sides.
