This accommodation consists of 5 self-catering apartments across from the taxi rank in Marine Way (rank closes at 6pm weekdays) and is situated 100m from the shops and restaurants of Plettenberg Bay's Main Street.

Central Beach is a short walk away.

For the more private traveller or those who want some 'me time', our double and family apartments are just what you need. For those who do not mind sharing we have 2 dorm style apartments fitted with bunk beds. Each apartment has a private entrance, a fully equipped for self-catering kitchen, a bathroom, Satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee.

No mention in the advert that it's opposite a taxi rank,friendly service  biggest negative is there was almost zero hot water pressure so I couldn't have anything that even approximated a shower.

Thanks for your feedback.  I have amended our description to indicate that it is opposite the taxi rank, however I do not consider that an issue as it is safe and non-operational after 6pm on weekdays and 4pm on Saturdays.  It is not used on Sundays.
 
In the 20 months that we have been open we have to date not had any incidents because of the taxi rank.  All vehicles that have been parked in front of the building have been safe with no break-ins at all.  In fact, I find that the people that work at the rank are quite vigilant and do not tolerate any criminal activity ? they are after all running a business and need a safe, efficient environment in which to operate.
 
My apologies regarding the water pressure.  We have had problems with the municipal pressure when they have worked on the pipes.  I did in fact check the water flow in the shower myself before you checked in.  Although it was not at full pressure it did appear adequate to shower.
 
I have taken this up with the landlord and again with the municipality.
