@ The Beach is a new, modern, minimalistic and airy self-catering beach cottage situated in the Pearly Beach Resort. The unit can only accommodate 4 people maximum ie: ideal for a small family, group of friends, or couples looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.The beach cottage has two bedrooms, with one double bed and two single beds that can be made up as twin beds. The shower room comprises of a modern open walk-in shower with glass panel, basin and toilet. The lounge and kitchen are open-plan and brings in wonderful light through the large windows and doors. The kitchen is fitted with granite counter tops and modern fittings including a four-plate electric stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and top loader washing machine. The lounge comprises of a 2 seater Oregon bench/couch with chunky cushions to laze on while watching television (32 inch TV with open-view HD), listening to music or reading a magazine or book from our library. Outside you have the option to sit on the undercover porch whilst you bask in the sun reading a book or drinking your morning cup of coffee. A portable stainless steel braai is available, as well as two outdoor table and bench sets on either side of the cottage. The beach cottage is fully walled for privacy. Bed linen and bath towels are provided but no beach towels.For bird lovers Pearly Beach is a birders paradise - from sunbirds to weavers amongst the fynbos as well as the endangered black oystercatchers often seen breeding on the beach. In the winter months from July to October the majestic southern right whales visit the bay as well as schools of dolphins can sometimes be spotted. Visit the Baardskeerdersbos monthly farmers market on the last Saturday of the month or the Baardskeerdersbos Art Route which takes place twice yearly ? 18 km away. Visit the Black Oystercatcher Winery outside Elim for fine wines and good food ? 39 km away. If you are an adrenalin junkie then why not do Shark Cage Diving in Kleinbaai ? 20 km away.
