Aloes Lancers Gap is a lovely guest house located on a plateau that overlooks the city and is within a short drive of Maseru. Accommodation is offered in a choice of 36 bedrooms furnished with comfortable queen-size or twin beds, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a shower only. Each room is also equipped with a TV with access to local channels, heaters, and tea and coffee-making facilities.Every morning guests can enjoy a lovely breakfast and other meals can also be prepared on request. Guests can relax in the garden, make use of the barbecue facilities, or cool off in the pool. Short city tours, tours to local places of historical importance and cultural events can also be organized. Internet, as well as a laundry and room service, are available and a security guard will keep you safe. Your host does reside on the premises. Aloes Lancers Gap is situated within a 10-minute drive from the Maseru city center and is situated on the way to the Kome Caves, a historical place where King Moshoeshoe the First, founder of the Basotho nation, is buried.

Great experience by

It was such a great and wonderful experience away from the hustle of town. Superb customer service from the hosts who worked tirelessly to keep the visitors happy and at home. Wouldn't mind another relaxation at the lodge.

Nice domain, clean rooms by

At the time that we were around, there was a wedding going on. That meant that we couldn't use the garden or the swimming pool. During the night there was also another party going on, on the domain. But hey: the staff was very friendly and made a delisious dinner and the rooms were clean.



Below par stay for over priced accommodation...

-No water or electricity on certain days
-Towels not supplied on daily basis. Used towels remove and not replaced
-No fridge supplied even after guest house informed us there was one in each unit
-Rude staff when it came to questioning quires
-Aircon didn't work correctly or at all  


Aloes Lancers Gap by

We stayed there for Roof of Africa 2016, and the place is clean, well managed, excellent staff, can reccomend to anyone. Good value for money.
Great breakfast.
