The Aloe Canyons Cottage is situated in a camp with wildlife that hosts Eland, Kudu, Springbuck and the most exquisite birdlife. Aloe Canyons is in the middle of Swellendam (25km), Malagas(21km), which has the only ferry that is driven by hand and De Hoop Nature Reserve(25km).

Guests can experience real country living on this working farm while watching the activities that happen every day.

This cottage has an open-plan setup and is suited to accommodate two guests. It comes equipped with a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom, a kitchen, a lounge area and an indoor braai area. Linen and towels are also provided.

ALOE CANYONS REVIEWS (94%)
Aloe Canyons Hospitality by

We had a great stay! There were thoughtful touches like chocolates, rusks and fresh farm eggs. After telling Gawie we were interested in birding he took us to see the Blue Crane nesting site. We went to De Hoop Nature reserve on Saturday and Grootvadersbos reserve on Sunday. Bontebok national park would have been next if we had more time. Evenings watching the Eland from the stoep were special. I can definitely recommend it for a private, quiet weekend away.

Beautiful view, clean air, quiet by

The cottage was super clean with everything you needed. Special touches such as fresh eggs, fluffy white towels and current magazines added to the positive experience. The view is lovely and you can enjoy morning coffee on your deck while watching the eland have their breakfast in the field below. It is perfect for dog family members who have plenty opportunity for exploring and swimming in the river which is just a few meters away.

Peaceful by

Lovely tranquil lodge on way to DeHoop. Lovely abs kind owners.
