Alabama Self-catering Flat is situated in the seaside village of Saldanha Bay, the largest and deepest natural bay in South Africa.
The flat is neat, affordable and well positioned, with the busy fishing harbour a short distance down away. A bachelor-style unit, Alabama is fully equipped for self-catering with an open-plan bedroom, living and dining area. There is an en-suite bathroom, kitchen and one additional single bed.
The characteristic bay is well sheltered and home to the South African Military Academy's Naval training base, where many young hopefuls spend months training to represent their country in their smart white uniforms.
An unspoilt part of the world, Saldanha is also home to variety of sea bird life that easily outnumbers the bay's human inhabitants. One can look out for seagulls, cormorants, Cape gannets, duikers and terns.
