Thatchville Guesthouse is centrally located and close to the business centre, restaurants and hospitals. We offer five luxury en-suite rooms with double and single beds and an exclusive self-catering private cottage.

The guest house has a secure, remote-controlled parking area and braai facilities outside. There is a swimming pool and a beautiful garden available to guests. We offer conference facilities for up to 35 delegates. A full breakfast is served in our dining room and dinner can be arranged on request. The guest house has broadband Internet access in all rooms.

Welkom is South Africa's youngest town and has been the centre of the gold fields since 1947. Welkom has many monuments including the Aandek Monument, Afrikaans Language Monument, Joanne Pim Monument, WWII Monument, Voortrekker Memorial, Dog Monument, Old Indaba bleugum tree and the Moth Memorial.

Our stay at Thatchville Guesthouse was very pleasant.  The staff were extremely friendly, helpfull and the breakfast was great!  The only thing I would recommend is for them to get a generator especially the way things are in SA at the moment.
