Underhill Farm

UnderHill farm is a 100% upcycled eco-friendly pet friendly guest farm in the Overberg nestled between the Botrivier and twaalfontein streams. It's less than 100km from Cape Town making it an ideal mid-week or weekend getaway to escape civilisation.

The farm is on the Van Der Stel Pass, which is popular for cycling and hiking. Franschhoek, Hermanus, and Botrivier are all within 40min of the farm and offer wine tasting, fine dining, outdoor adventures, shopping and more.

There are 3 rentable properties on the farm, Rivendell cottage (sleeps 4), Hobbit Hollow (sleeps 4) and Oak cottage (sleeps 2).

Rivendell cottage, perched on the edge of the Twaalfontein stream, has two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The stoep features an enclosed braai area with ample eating and seating areas. There is a small plunge pool, large securely enclosed garden and a private pathway down to a brick patio with a fire pit next to the river.

Hobbit Hollow is located on the opposite side of the farm set into the bank of the Botriver. It has two bedrooms, shared bathroom with Shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. The outside is terraced down to the river with a covered eating area and open braai next to your own private rock pool. An enclosed shaded garden for your dogs to roam, with chill area under the poplar forest canopy completes the picture.

Oak cottage is the tree house of the farm, with large enclosed garden and big pool leading to the cottage with picture windows drinking in the views, a bedroom overlooking the river, lounge and kitchen leading to the deck suspended over the Botrivier for shaded braais and privacy.
