The house

The Riverhouse is an elegantly restored Cape Dutch B&B set in a huge garden, with a magnificent 20 m verandah overlooking the Bushman's River in Estcourt. Each spacious room is individually decorated and has a private bathroom, DStv, tea and coffee facilities, heaters, roof fans, and electric blankets.

We offer excellent friendly service in tranquil country surrounds, a sumptuous breakfast, and dinners are available on request. We are conveniently situated close to the CBD, and Estcourt is a great place to stop-over between Johannesburg and Durban. Estcourt is also the gateway to the Drakensberg, the Battlefields, and the Midlands Meander.

The Riverhouse provides a comfortable, professional home away from home for the businessman or tourist. We offer three double rooms in the main house with views of the river, as well as two garden annexes and a family room sleeping four people with self-catering facilities.
