Grootvlei Cottage is a luxurious, renovated self-catering farm cottage comfortably equipped with a large fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and two gorgeous bedrooms with white bedding and towels. Activities include bird watching, hiking, fishing, and the viewing of blesbok.

The farm is situated 3 km from Caledon, which owes its origins to the hot water springs on the slopes of the Klein Swartberg Mountains. Within 30 minutes' drive from Grootvlei Cottage, guests can visit the charming towns of Hermanus, Botrivier and Greyton.

We had a good weekend! Very peaceful away from the busy town life! Only problem there are lots of flies and moths. Other than that it was a lovely weekend.
