Crags Cottage

If you need to get away from it all to a quiet corner near the berg, then the Crags Cottage is the ideal place to relax, in the rolling hillsides of the Natal Midlands.

Crags Cottage is a delightful cottage in the Kamberg area of the Natal Midlands on the shores of the new Springrove Dam. It is an ideal place to relax and recharge batteries in the rolling hills with a view of the dam and the mountains at very reasonable rates.

The cottage can comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of five guests and comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge and dining room. The main bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom contains a single bed and an overhead divan. An additional guest can be accommodated on a daybed in the lounge area. The two bathrooms, both en suite, each contain a shower, basin and toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove, microwave oven, and a fridge-freezer combo. The comfortable lounge includes a fireplace for those chilly evenings. There is a large veranda with portable braai facilities. Carport parking is available. Crags Cottage is now off grid so you will not be inconvenienced by load shedding.
The recently established Vaalekop eco trail (circular route) provides a beautiful walk from the property, onto adjoining properties, with much of the distance being near the edge of the dam. There are, however, a few steep places.
