Overlooking the rugged beauty of the Namibian landscape, Africa Safari Lodge offers guests a memorable stay just outside of the scenic town of Mariental.

This lovely lodge has 20 well-appointed guest rooms, of which all have twin- or king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Each room also has large glass doors which not only let in plenty of natural light, but also showcase stunning views of the surrounding bushveld with its variety of wild life.

Guests can start their day off with a delicious breakfast enjoying a morning game drive and a memorable sunrise. The property is also a haven for birdwatchers and many species can be appreciated from the patio, or along a guided walking trail. Visits to Sossusvlei and Sesriem can also be arranged on request.

Start the evening off with another game drive to admire the nocturnal creatures, or to simply experience the magic of an African sunset. Enjoy a scrumptious meal at the restaurant before taking advantage of the clear night skies and delighting in some star gazing.

Train your staff by

Tourism is a key sector of Namibia's economy. In an environment of increasingly having to deal with discerning customers to remain competitive in this sector worldwide it just simply is NOT adequate to put your employees into uniforms and expect that the rest will come by itself. I clearly did not receive great service, but I do not blame them. I blame the management for not unlocking their potential and career plan. Provide them with training and if you cannot do it yourself, please send then to training facilities - there are good facilities in Namibia. Use them! The facilities are in quite a bit of disrepair. I nail sticking out of my chair ruined my not so inexpensive pants. Yes, again, a note to management: you have to not only invest in your employees, but also in up-keeping your facilities. The rhino' coming to the very close watering hole, however, still is amazing. A wonderful site!
