Brandkraal Bed and Breakfast is a charming bed and breakfast establishment located on a working farm, where time seems to stand still, just 14 km from Winterton and 30 km from Estcourt.

Accommodation is offered in two comfortable en-suite rooms; one of which is a double and the other a family room. Each room contains an en-suite bathroom, a TV with local channels, and use of their own fridge. There is a large dining and lounge area with an outside patio. Guests are welcome to make use of the braai facility.

Guests can relax and absorb the views of the beautiful surrounding mountains, farmlands and dams. Bring your own fishing tackle if you enjoy fishing as the dams have an abundant supply of bass.

Wonderful Stay by

We came down to do the Berg & Bush MTB race and the first day was an early start - Agnes got up early to give us breakfast at 5am, which was really going the extra mile for her guests. The accommodation was very comfortable and the friendly atmosphere made the stay a pleasure.



Very quaint and relaxing. Agnes was very helpful and accommodating throughout our weekend there. A true B&B style experience (with facilities available to heat up lunch and dinner). Directions aren't 100% from google maps so call Agnes beforehand to get the true directions from Winterton.

In the bundu by

The place is quite isolated, close to a cattle farm (milk) and has a beautiful nature surrounding. The room and interior is basic and nothing has a good finish. The breakfast is excellent and plenty.
the place is nicely situated if you want to hike in this part of the Drakensberg.
Our misfortune was that a few days before our arrival part of the house (not the room we stayed in though) was flooded by excessive rainfall during a thunderstorm. thus fitted carpets in adjacent area was still wet and smelly and drying equipment made a constant noise as well.
Although advertised: this B&B had NO TV facilities in room.
