Because Cape Town is such a great place, we decided to develop a Backpackers Lodge that is really special. Boutique? Boutique for us is everything stylish, unique and luxurious ? and all this you'll find in the homely atmosphere at 33 South Backpackers. Since we dedicated our name (33 South) to the geographic location of Cape Town (33 South, 18 East), it's fitting that each of our rooms is themed after a different culturally rich ?Capetonian? neighbourhood.

Whether you choose to spend the night in an extra-sized bed in District 6, the colourful Bo-kaap, Khayalitsha Shack chic or the cool and breezy Kalk bay room (amongst others) Cindy, Kim and the rest of the friendly staff will make sure you feel at home in this spacious Victorian house.

At the reception you'll not only find a selection of tours, activities and great music, but also insider-info on the best restaurants, surf spots, music festivals and loads of ?off-the-beaten-track? adventures.

Comfort, safety and security are top priority. To ensure this, each guest has their very own large locking cupboard with digital code safe, extra-sized bed with the softest fresh linen and the night-watchman Elvis will keep you safe and entertained.
