Your hosts pledge to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Shukihawu B&B and Lodge is situated in along our beautiful surrounding beaches of Kosi Bay.

Choose from various rooms, which feature air-conditioning, fridges, desk and chair, TV with DStv, shower, toilet, linen and towels, iron and ironing board, and standing fan.

The Lodge features a braai area, outdoor pool, free parking, a 24-hour front desk, and beach shuttles for our guests' use.

Good location, just before the border! Basic guesthouse, with a basic price, so no complaints.

Disappointed by

We booked accommodation for Monday and Tuesday night a few days before and paid the full amount. As there was no way to set up our bedding requirements, we sent an email. No reply was received, so we phoned the day before we were due to arrive. The guy sounded surprised to hear about the booking. We arrived around 18:00 and at least the beds was set up like requested. We were not shown a braai area, there was no kettle, pots or pans in the room (even though we booked a self-catering unit). These were eventually provided. There was no fridge and there was still plastic over the mattress! We then had to find someone as there were no lights working in the communal kitchen either. At least the showers were hot, the airconditioner and television worked (not great selection, but weren't there for television). We weren't expecting much with these prices, but got even less than expected when it came to being able to cater for ourselves. We opted to spend our 2nd night elsewhere.
