Thorn Tree Bush Camp is 4 star graded and located inside the Dinokeng Game Reserve in Hammanskraal, Gauteng.

This camp is for the true nature lover where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature, where the stars are brighter at night, where lion roars, jackal bark, bush babies cry, owls screeches and the insects sing and much more are often heard at night.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, enjoy a braai under the stars with the sounds of the wild surrounding you, or take a game drive to view the BIG 5.

We have 6 Bush Campsites each with their own private bathroom and 2 Off Grid Campsites in a un-fenced part of the park for self sufficient campers, we also have tented accommodation.

Meals are available, prepared by our in-house Chef please request more info if you need more info. A small shop for your convenience available to purchase wood, ice, firelighters, ice cream, cold drinks, etc.

Please take note:
Minimum 2 nights stay.
Long Weekend stay minimum 3 or 4 nights, depending on the long weekend.

During your stay you would be required to pay conservation fees to Dinokeng Game Reserve. Fees can be paid at various pay points. Please keep your entrance ticket to enable payment. Self Drive Permits are linked to your entrance ticket, ensure you keep it safe.
If you would like to drive in Dinokeng Game Reserves you would be required to take out a Self Drive / Game Drive Permit.
Game drives available please enquire about the price. No children under 3 allowed on game drive vehicle.
