George

George Backpackers is ideally situated in the heart of George, a charming town along the Garden Route.

The backpackers comprises of five rooms, of which two rooms have two bunk beds, one room with four bunk beds for eight guests; and two rooms with either two single or one king-size bed. There are two bathrooms, one with shower, one with bath tub, both with toilet. The backpacker also offers guests a communal kitchen, a TV room with selected DStv programs, and a covered outdoor braai area in the garden. Free 250MB Wi-Fi Internet access per day.

George is in the Heart of the Garden Route and offers itself as the central point to start your Garden Route activities from Oudtshoorn to Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. In George itself are plenty activities on offer from a visit to the George Museum, the Botanical Garden with the unique Cape Floral Kingdom, and the Outeniqua Farmers Market on a Saturday.
