The Cradle

Off the R563, nestled on a gentle slope overlooking the Cradle of Humankind, our lodge is just a few minutes away from a host of activities offered within the World Heritage Site. We offer eight beautifully appointed suites, some with their own private patios ideal for an intimate romantic dinner. With the option of king, queen or single size beds our spacious suites all offer comfortably at affordable prices.

The lodge has a licensed pub, a dining facility where 3 course meals are prepared (booking essential - prior to arrival) and a pool, all situated on 36 hectares of rolling Savannah veld and indigenous trees. Our garden is home to a number of bird species and if you are lucky, game can be seen on the adjacent game reserve from your breakfast table. The three main centers of Johannesburg, Pretoria and Rustenburg are easily accessible from our lodge, making us the ideal base for Soccer fans.

The conference facility is equipped to host up to 25 people for day Conferences and up to 16 over night sharing or eight single. Come and enjoy our facility and friendly staff.
