Except for the very diligent security guard who washed our very dirty car, due to rains and dirty roads, there is nothing good that came out of our stay in this place. I do not know if the place is rated, but I believe if qualifies as a guest house than a lodge. exit onto the deck and out to the garden.
Room Three was meant to be accommodate only two people in queen size bed but when we got there, the room had a double bed and a 3 quarter bed. Such a turn off! To make it worse, the decor was a naked woman hanging on the floor, so inappropriate! You find that in motels maybe! I had to remove it for the duration of our stay. There is no garden view and I certainly did not see the deck. I might have seen some green grass but it doesn't constitute a garden and certainly not the garden or swimming pool views. The back of the room, supposed garden, swimming pools views and deck, was a very depressing view.
On check in, the lady did not inform us of what's included or where to find what. I had ask for access to Wi-Fi, I had to walk to the reception to ask for the password after my first request was not honoured. Room Three was featured as a bed and breakfast and the reason my husband chose it. However, the following day I was charged R65 for s small bowl of cornflakes and yoghurt. The lady insisted it's clearly excluded on the quote but that was not the case. She added that SafariNow has advised them to exclude breakfast. This was a serious misrepresentation because we would not have chosen this place if it weren't for us bring made to believe that the room includes bed and breakfast. My chosen place was Panda.
Noise remained a challenge. You hear everything that happens.
This is a place I'll not recommend to anyone. It's a double storey house situated in the midst of a normal residential area. More like visiting a family, not for a holiday or business. VALLEY VIEW LODGE LIGGING
