The Palm Residence

Recently completed to European design specifications, the 5-bedroom, 10-person occupancy Palm Residence, located in Northern Zanzibar, includes both an internal kitchen and a more traditional Zanzibari kitchen, where our chefs will prepare meals that exceed your every desire and requirement.

The property comprises 1,5 hectares of tropical garden with a wide variety of fruit trees, spices, and seasonal vegetables at your disposal. Each of our 5 bedrooms has an ocean view, private balcony, en-suite bathroom, A/C and ceiling fan and both WIFI and cable television is available in the villa. The villa comes with a host/butler, who will look after all your needs throughout the duration of your stay.

A large infinity swimming pool (20×6 meters), with a waterfall feature with complete privacy for sunbathing, laps swimming, and a cooling dip.Gazebos and sun parasols around the lounge areas by the pool. High-speed WIFI is available free of charge. Security 24/7.Back-up generator in case of an electricity outage. Wireless Bluetooth loudspeaker is available free of charge.

Set high on a hillside overlooking kilometres of untouched beach and coral lagoon, The Palm Residence is located just off the main road within Kidoti, a traditional village.

Within our property, you are surrounded by banana, orange, mango, avocado, sour-sop, papaya, lemon, lychee, and pineapple trees growing naturally and sustained with organic and traditional methods. As you look out from our sunset garden you will see a vista of beach and lagoon and, beyond, the open ocean. The beach offers tidal swimming, safe for children and even the most inexperienced swimmers.

Outside our private premises, you can experience the rhythms of Zanzibari country life. Walk into the village centre and shop in the local stores or visit the school that receive support from us. Or take a short, 10-minute drive to Kendwa or Nungwi to enjoy the white sandy beaches of the North of Zanzibar, and activities such as scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, sailing, and a colourful and vibrant nightlife that is offered in these bigger and busier villages.
