Diaz Strand is a very popular holiday destination on the Garden Route between Mosselbay and Hartenbos. Portobello is a peaceful security complex situated in the very popular Diaz Strand. This complex is across the road from the Hot water swimming pool and one block away from Diaz Beach.The complex has a clubhouse with pool tables and child friendly swimming pool area, nice lawns and beautiful garden. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious open-plan entertainment area, the apartment is comfortably furnished and offers sleeping space for six people. Two of the rooms have queen-size double beds and the other room have two single beds. Bedding is provided, but you need to bring your own towels.Included in the price is a lockup garage inside the 24 Hour security complex. Nr 30. DSTV can be included on request.

Great stay! by

We had the privilege of spending a week during December at Portobello 30. Though we were initially slightly concerned about getting everything from the garage to the fifth floor apartment, we soon realized that, due to the design of the complex, the lifts should never be over utilized. The apartment itself and especially the bedrooms were far roomier than we expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fact that it is not located directly on the beach itself ensures that accessing the complex is not really compromised by the amount of traffic. We can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to any family looking for well-equipped, roomy and excellently maintained accommodation.

I was very impressed with the apartment and it was clean and tidy. It is nice and spacious compared to other venues in the same area. I would definitely only go there if I visit Mossel bay again. The homeliness and security makes having a fun filled holiday easy. The fifth floor is easily accessible with the lift. It's also very central to beach and minutes away from everything else.
