If peace, quiet and tranquility in comfort is what you are after, Forellenhof is your place to go. No 'forelle' as yet, but plans are in the offing to introduce them to the property. Lovely views from the stoep and although Wakkerstroom is only down the mountain, one can't see it, which adds to the peace.

A spot of heaven by

What a beautiful little piece of heaven. We only stayed a night much to our disappointment as we were in the midst of a long travel and needed a stop over for the night. The owners, Johan and Ronelle went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, thanks! Amazing touches that make the place magical- a smiling face on a willow tree, a swinging bench by the vlei...true hits with our little children. We would definately recommend staying there...and longer than one night if you can.
