Elegant Lodge

Elegant lodge is situated in Pongola, just off the N2 highway, between Pretoria and Durban. It is the perfect stopover on your way to Swaziland, Ponta do Oura in Mozambique, Sodwana bay or the north coast.

Located conveniently opposite the golf course in a quiet area, the upmarket double-storey guest house offers you secure parking, a lovely landscaped garden with a swimming-pool and fifteen rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

We have two luxury rooms with a shower and a bath, as well as five double rooms, three double/twin rooms and five single rooms. All the rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with DStv, air-conditioner, bar fridge, hairdryer, safe, a coffee station and Wi-Fi.

You can relax in the lounge watching TV, play pool or enjoy your own drinks at the bar. Unfortunately we are not licensed to sell liquor but you are most welcome to bring your own. Soft drinks are sold at the bar area. Breakfast can be enjoyed either inside or outside on order the previous night. We offer a three-course home-cooked dinner on request, which has to be order by 12h00 on the same day of arrival. Dinner will be only be served from 18h00-20h00 and Breakfast from 7H00-9H00.

Opposite the swimming-pool is a lovely venue, where we have Conferences and Functions.

We do not have a 24 hour Reception, and we do not have staff on duty 24 hours as well. Therefore we charge a late arrival fee of R300.00 after 21h00 in the evenings, which is payable immediately on arrival.
