Two luxury cottages in the best place of serenity with no noise. We really appreciate the attention to detail that went into the cottages. The surrounding landscape and Fynbos are truly magnificent. You can come here and forget about the world for a while.

Our open-plan cottages are elegantly furnished, self-sustainable units, each with a fully equipped kitchen, king-sized bed, freestanding bathtub, and shower. A fireplace, wood-fired kolkol hot tub, and deck surrounding each cottage ensure guests can enjoy their stays throughout the seasons.

Dwarriega - Cottage : Dwarriega gets its name from the ephemeral Droe-Dwarriega river that runs across the farm past the cottage. If you're lucky (following some good rain) you may see it flowing, filled with tadpoles and life.

Poortjies - cottage: Poortjies is named after the Poortjieskloofdam, only a few kilometers down the road towards Barrydale - the stone used to build the dam wall came from our farm and you can still see what's left of the old quarry on the farm. The quarry created a lush little micro-climate teaming with life.

Suidster (between Montagu and Barrydale on the world-famous R62) covers 110 hectares of pristine fynbos at the foot of the Langeberg mountains. Our cottages run on solar and are completely off-grid. Come explore the beauty of Klein Karoo fauna at its best. Total privacy, peace, and quiet... enjoy your wood-fired hot tub, under the most beautiful starry skies on earth.
