Franschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa
Self-catering
(POA)

Cape Dutch @ Keerweder is situated in the beautiful Franschhoek valley on the oldest farm in Franschhoek, granted in 1692 to Heinrich Muller who came from Brussels. The Cape Dutch Manor was built in 1830 and opened its doors in 1886 as the first guest house in the Cape Lands. Now once again guests are offered accommodation in the manor house on Keerweder.

Franschhoek is a town in South Africa's Western Cape Provence with centuries-old vineyards and Cape Dutch architecture. Trails wind through flowers and wildlife at Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve to views over Franschhoek Valley. The Huguenot Memorial Museum and neighbouring monument honour the area's French settlers, who arrived in the 17th and 18th centuries. Franschhoek Motor Museum displays vintage cars amid mountain farmland.
