Ubushle Bemvelo

Ubushle Bemvelo is COVID-19 compliant in respect of sanitising the house after each guest has departed, the keeping of records and the monthly reporting. The cleaning staff have been trained in COVID-19 procedures.
The house has been revamped during 2021 with a new "thorn-free " area by the braai which will be grassed, a new gas geyser and the sleeping arrangements has been reduced to 8 adults only. A new cleaning staff member has also been hired.

Ubuhle Bemvelo sleeps a maximum of eight (8)adults. It is a fully furnished, self-catering house situated on the main tar road and close to the exit towards the Crocodile River Gate to the Kruger National Park (Approx 10 Km).

The house sleeps eight adults in four bedrooms, with three bathrooms and a separate toilet. All bedrooms have air-conditioners and there is an air-conditioner in the main living area. There is an upstairs braai patio with table tennis and a large dining table as well as a separate braai and open fireplace downstairs by the splash pool. Ubuhle Bemvelo is within walking distance of the Crocodile River overlooking the Kruger National Park.

The main hide is further along the river road and there is a walking trail next to the river with frequent benches for rest stops. Alternatively, bring your mountain bike for a cycle through nature. At night the full splendor of the heavens can be viewed from the security of the cantilever, as Marloth Park nights are not spoiled by street lighting. There are a number of dining places, shops and bottle stores in Marloth Park.

Marloth Park is a nature conservancy adjoining the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park. There are no fences within the conservancy and animals roam free between the establishments. Marloth Park pastimes include game viewing in the park as well as across the river, bird watching, stargazing or just quietly sitting and listening to the animal noises and the lion and hippo from the Kruger Park. There is also fishing nearby in Komatipoort, as well as a 9-hole golf course at Komatipoort and an 18-hole golf course at Leopard Creek CC next to the Malelane Gate. Marloth Park is 110 Km from Maputo, and the same distance from Piggs Peak Casino, Swaziland (Passports required for both).

Bookings cannot start on the last day of a long weekend as there is no bus service for cleaning staff on Public Holidays.

Bookings must start on the day before or the first day of a long weekend. Bookings over Christmas will be charged from the 23rd.
