There are only a few things that I did not like. 1) There is no mat in the shower as I did not bring my slops along I had to use one of the towels in the shower.
2) There was no hot breakfast - the cold breakfast was two cereals, yoghurt, one banana, one apple, orange juice and two slices of bread that you need to toast yourself. There was one jam (red jam) which I do not eat (can't they put out marmalade or marmite for that matter?). There was no glasses only one mug which you drink tea from, water from and juice. Rooibos tea and the normal tea are in one tin. You physically need to smell all the bags to determine which is which.
I also missed the Bible in the room.
I think if they fix this small problem areas the stay will be fine. Very friendly and helpful by Sanet Basson, South Africa Tuesday, 22 June 2010 The team at Africa Guest House really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The rooms are cleaned everyday. Hettie made special provision for me for breakfast since I have special dietary needs, which I thought was very thoughtful.
If the team continues at the rate they are, what with continual improvements, this guesthouse can become even more successful than they already are.
The feeling I got was that they really care for the people who stay there. I never felt unsafe and ALL the staff are very friendly and helpful.
If the opportunity arises again, I would stay there again.
