Old Pollie is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, amid the ordered neatness of the citrus orchards with serene views of the nearby hills.

The cottage can sleep up to three guests and is suitable for a couple or a small family. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin. The lounge has ample seating as well as a TV and a Hi-Fi. An open-plan kitchen with a fridge, microwave, two-plate cooker and everything else needed for self-catering will make your stay comfortable. For entertainment purposes there is a spotless patio facing onto the garden and a private lapa area with a braai.

Apart from the obvious attraction of the Baviaanskloof and the various activities to be found around Patensie, guests are welcome to stroll in the orchards or along the river, which runs through the farm. Alternatively, explore the hills or follow the path along the irrigation canal which has made the valley what it is.

We enjoyed our stay on the farm... with acces to various MTB routes including the Baviaans Kloof that you can ride by bike up to the first boom at 2
30km from the cottage. 


A place to rest by

Old Pollie was a little oasis after traveling by motorbike through Baviaanskloof! It's a neat little cottage that has everything you need. We were made to feel very welcome by our friendly hosts. I definitely recommend staying over here when traveling through Baviaanskloof. Jansie also knows a lot about the area and can give advice and suggestions.
