De Helling Self-catering offers guests a choice of staying in one of four comfortably furnished self-catering units in Protea Heights, Brackenfell.

The open-plan One-bedroom Units are furnished with a double bed with an en-suite bathroom, while the Two-bedroom Units are furnished with comfortable double and bunk beds with a shared bathroom. Each unit has a kitchen that is fully equipped for self-catering and the units have a TV.

Guests can relax in the lovely garden with its pool and parking is available behind a remote-controlled gate. Guests can also visit one of the many attractions in the area.

We were very sceptical before we arrived at the De Helling guest house we were in for a rude awakening it is one of the best run facilities Len and Christea made us very welcome and could not do enough to make us feel at home, the flat was very clean and comfortable we have just returned from Mykonos at Langebaan and as far as the accommodation goes does not come near to De Helling. We will most definitely use the guest house again. Paul and Marie Jacobs

We had a pleasant stay. Everything was number one, besides the TV channels though, because it only had 1 additional channel together with your SABC 1,2 and 3. The owner is very friendly I must say and the area is nice and quiet.

I loved the layout of the limited space, however, big dissappointment was the swimming pool which was closed (filled with water) our entire stay. Had to drive out to go swim elswhere. No privicy as the owner was busy with renovations next to our unit.
