Royal Jozini Big 6 Estate is situated on the Swaziland side of Lake Jozini. Ideal for bush breaks or for tiger fishing, Royal Jozini lies at the foot of the Lebombo Mountains on the lake shore. Tiger Fishing charters can be arranged ? half or full day fishing excursions on the lake with boat and skipper.

Brown's Tented Camp is located close to the Marina on the lake shore. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and fridge-freezer with a dining area, under cool thatch with tented sides and views to the lake.

There are four twin-bedded sleeping tents and all linen and towels are provided, whilst the ablution block consists of two shower rooms with gas-hot water. A housekeeper comes in daily to clean, wash up and make beds and the camp supplies the first welcome wood supply for your boma fire place.

There are solar lights outside for night time and this camp is ideal for families, friends and fishermen to enjoy Royal Jozini's pristine bush, wonderful scenery of lake and mountains, abundant birdlife and the chance to catch tiger fish.

Beautiful location, run down camp by

Lovely situation and could be a great camp, however it is need of a re-vamp, many of the zips and fastening on the canvas are broken, on the decking of the communal area there are broken damaged planks. The fridge did not work at all and the freezer barely kept the food at fridge temperature. Expensive considering the condition of the camp and the facilities provided Despite this we enjoyed our stay. ESTABLISHMENT RESPONSE: We are so sorry that things were not to your expectations during your visit to Brown's Camp. Unfortunately there had been several storms with very high winds, and these had taken their toll on the tent zips just before the holidays. They are being repaired. So sorry that this could not be done before your arrival. The refrigerator had just been repaired and we were not aware that it was not functioning and so this, too has now been seen to again. As Brown's Camp has no electricity supply (solar lamps only), the gas appliances tend to struggle when the ambient temperature is high, especially during December (Christmas Day was 45 degrees C!). The decking is also undergoing replacement. When our building industry shuts down for 4 weeks from mid-December, it is often very difficult to get workmen ? with added delays getting them to come into the Game Reserve as we are 45 kms from the nearest town. We are so sorry that you struggled over your two night stay but we are glad that you managed to enjoy the general ambience of the camp on the lakeside. Thank you for giving us feedback and alerting us to the maintenance issues which we have now been able to address. We hope that you enjoyed your entire holiday!
