Established in 1892, the Savoy Hotel and Conference Centre is centrally situated in the heart of Kimberley, approximately 50m from the Town Hall. The Savoy is one of Kimberley's oldest and most enchanting hotels and has lived through the diamond heydays.

More than expected by

The picture does not quite tell the tale. Nonetheless the room was large, and included all the basics I needed. Staff were friendly and eager to please.

An interesting stay by

Clean and value for money, although we stayed on a Saturday night and there are two very noisy nightclubs: one is part of the hotel; and the other across the road. Staff friendly, except we arrived at 13:10 to be told check in was 14:00. We thought fair enough, until we discovered later that this 60 room hotel was almost empty.
