Henk van Rooyen is a lovely resort situated in the wildlife sanctuary, Marloth Park.
The resort offers guests the choice of staying in one of the comfortable chalets or rondavels, or make use of the caravan stands situated on the river bank. The chalets and rondawels are furnished with double or single beds and can sleep four to six people. Each of the 10 caravan stands is roofed and each has a private braai area. The upgraded ablution facilities and the scullery room are shared between the stands, chalets and rondavels and consist of showers only. The resort also has a lovely pool.
Situated close to Komatipoort, Marloth forms part of the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. Residents of Marloth are not allowed to fence their properties, creating unique experiences like waking up to find a bushbuck or a hippo in front of your caravan or chalet. Elephants are also nearby as they love to drink from and play in the Crocodile River and lions have been seen from time to time.
With excellent facilities provided, Henk van Rooyen aims to make guests' stay as exciting or relaxing as possible, whichever is preferred.
