Mzimayi River Lodge

Mzimayi River Lodge is located along the banks of the Mzimayi River. It offers five Double Rooms and four Family Rooms. The sub-tropical climate is wonderful all year round.

All of the rooms are equipped with either double or single beds as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. Fans and air-conditioners ensure the comfort of guests and each room has a safe for valuables.

The lodge has a large deck area with a swimming pool and fully licensed pub where we serve small meals. There is a wonderful á la carte restaurant with great sea views which is open to the public. Restaurant hours are Tues-Sat 08h00-20h00 and Sundays where we serve a delicious plated lunch instead of a la carte 08h00-15h00.

For corporate functions we have a conference room with option of white board and data projector. Group bookings for the entire lodge can be arranged with custom menus for these occasions. Rates applicable for these functions on request.

The lodge is only 800 m from Hibberdene's main beach, which is great location for scuba diving. The untouched reefs are home to many rare species such as the long nose hawkfish, soft coral sponges and fern corals. The Hibberdene Lagoon is great for a picnic in the sun or paddling in the waters.
