These three fully equipped self-catering holiday homes are nestled in the picturesque Matjiesvlei (Matjies Valley) at the foothills of the majestic Swartberg Mountain Range, just a short 14 km drive from Calitzdorp.
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking mountain vistas and experience the tranquility of the valley, where a harmonious blend of farming activities create a serene atmosphere.
Tucked away at the end of the valley, these homes offer a sanctuary from the noise and chaos of city life, providing the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Each of the three cottages has been lovingly restored to preserve their old-world charm, while incorporating modern amenities for your comfort.
· Bokwagtershuis and die Stalle comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, while Middelplaas can accommodate 4 guests.
· All linen is provided to ensure a hassle-free stay.
· Bokwagtershuis and Stalle feature open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge areas, offering stunning views of the surrounding fields and mountains. Middelplaas boasts a separate kitchen and lounge area.
· Each cottage is equipped with an air conditioner in the living area, ensuring a cool and comfortable stay during the warmer months.
· Enjoy a traditional South African braai (barbecue) on your own built-in braai, with braai grids, fire tongs and swartpotjie available for your use.
· The kitchens are fully equipped with all necessary utensils, including a dishwasher and washing machine in Bokwagtershuis and die Stalle.
· Both Bokwagtershuis and die Stalle feature two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower and a bath. Middelplaas has a shower.
· For added security, all windows and doors (except folding doors) are fitted with security screens.
· Stay connected with free WiFi access in all the cottages.
· As our guest, you will also have access to our private picnic spot by the river, located just opposite the Skuur, where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature.
