Slightly Disappointing by

We stayed at Otterskloof for one night and arrived in a huge rain storm which made the 30km trip on the dirt road rather unpleasant! Unfortunately we found the staff although pleasant untrained, our impression was that this is largely a hunting lodge and they seemed to be working on skeleton staff during this period. The evening meal was certainly overpriced at R195/person! The room was pleasant but we had a shower door which did not close. We certainly felt that this was not a 4 star experience!

Great location; friendly staff. Enjoyed the outdoors. Double bed had to be replaced long ago. Good overall experience but the sleeping comfort might prevent me from returning.
