Addo African Home is a charming and eco-friendly guesthouse located in Addo in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
It offers four different types of rooms (5 rondavels, 3 deluxe rooms, 5 familial standard rooms and 2 comfortable safari tents). Each room is equipped with a mosquito net, a ceiling fan, a heater, a safe, a hairdryer, a minibar fridge, bathrobes, slippers, organic toiletries, free Wi-Fi Internet access, tea and coffee facilities. There is also a laundry service, airport shuttle and transfers and BBQ areas and a well-equipped communal kitchen to prepare your meals if you want. Breakfast is available on site. For dinner, there is a Restaurant and Cooking School where local and international students are working together to deliver a great service. The meals are made with fresh products from our organic garden and local suppliers. There is a natural swimming pool. To discover Addo Elephant National Park, you can book full/half day directly with us and enjoy it from our open Land Rover. Addo African Home is a little - fair and sustainable - paradise where you will feel welcomed by the staff. A unique experience!

A wonderful day spent in Addo Elephant Park by

I was very happy at Addo African Home, the staff were most obliging and friendly and made us feel very welcome. had a lovely breakfast and the grounds are very neat and tidy.

Glamping in style by

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. The tents are very stylish, the beds are very comfy and bedding is crisp and clean. The bathrooms are spotless with complimentary toiletries that are divine. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The whole vibe is homely and warm ... a definite must when visiting the area

Comfortable accommodation in a relaxing environment by

My partner and I only spent one night here in the tented accommodation. It was superb. Friendly staff on arrival, comfortable room, great peaceful environment and all the necessities we required. The property was only 10 minutes from the main entrance to Addo Elephant park so perfectly located as well.

Comfortable canvas by

We had a safari tent which was comfortable and spacious, though it would benefit from a roof light. The shared kitchen amply met our needs, with a good fridge and sufficient cooking equipment. The private shower/toilet was appreciated, though midnight jaunts, even of just 5 mtrs. are a challenge for septuagenarians!!!

A pleasant stopover by

The place is beautifulyl designed, the beds comfortable and the garden is gorgeous! It was a little too close to the road for our liking, so we did get a lot of traffic noise at night. Our only complaint is there was no shower door and the water went all over the bathroom floor, what a waste for someone to clean up! The morning breakfast was superb, and they even catered seperately for our toddler, spoiling him rotten. The staff are all very friendly and professional. I would request knives for cutting, a cutting board and more cutlery for the self-catering kitchen. We really did enjoy our stay there, and it was very conventiently close to Addo.
