Welcome to 4 Star Abalone Lodge, situated on the magnificent ocean front of Hermanus. Abalone Guest Lodge offers luxury accommodation for travel, business, or leisure.

The lodge is an unusually artistic and unique guest house situated midway between the town centre and the beautiful white beaches of Hermanus. Abalone Lodge is easily accessible from the main road, and thanks to the well-known scenic cliff path to the front, is a unique whale watching spot.

All our rooms are en-suite, with panoramic sea and mountain views. Each room is individually appointed with original South African art and décor, and features a private balcony or patio. Rooms are also equipped with satellite TVs, telephones, underfloor heating, personalised linen, heated towel rails, and tea coffee facilities.

A little "peace" of heaven on earth! We had a relaxing evening and a fantastic breakfast. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful weekend break. Accommodation is fantastic with every little detail being thought of. Breakfast was superb, nice variety and well cooked.

We recommend that everyone should stay at Abalone Guest House and make their own experience. We give the guest house 11 points out of a possible 10 points. When we come back, we will definitely stay at Abalone again. Ask for Room 1 during whale season and you will see whales before you even have breakfast.
