77 on Main is situated in the little village of Suurbraak, nestled in a fold of the Langeberg Mountains just five kilometres from the incredible Tradouw Pass. We offer a two-bedroom self-catering unit and a bachelor unit. The property has ample parking space and a garden for pets.The heart of the village of Suurbraak has been preserved, and the buildings that rest on the village square and the two church buildings have been restored. Suurbraak lies in what could easily be termed a little piece of heaven.The Wonder Kloof across from town, is an incredible geological crack in the Langeberg Mountain range, with a number of recently opened hiking trails that take you through the kloof. Hiking, biking and visiting historical buildings are the main attractions of the town.

We arrived to a dirty place. Liquor bottles in the bin, dirty floors and dirty toilet. Inside of fridge looked some experiment that went wrong. Stove tripped the electricity. Cold water tap in kitchen did not work. The landlady was nowhere to be found when we arrived at 12PM. Door was open, but we could not unpack due to security reasons. She only showed up at 14h30 with the keys. We had to clean the fridge and toilet ourselves (drove to the store for cleaning aids). Swimming pool views in description not true. No swimming pool at all. We stayed only because we had nowhere else to go. Was tolerable after we cleaned up the place ourselves.

Establishment response:
I have been in Canada since 1st August and our internet has been sporadic or non existent. Travelling and fishing in remote regions.
All I can say is that my staff let me down horribly. My sincere apologies that your time was spoilt in Suurbraak.
We are back 1st October and I will contact you then or shortly thereafter.
I offer you a free weekend or midweek to compensate. I am refusing all bookings till I am back.
We are booked up the last 2 weekends in Nov but otherwise not booked up. I will have to check though as I have no contact with the girl in the shop and don't know what bookings she may have taken.
Again, I am so very sorry for the spoilt time. Hope to meet you and apologise in person.
