The self-catering accommodation is nothing short of comfortable and cosy. The natural surroundings serve to only enhance this picturesque little setting in the park, where safe game viewing can be happily enjoyed.

Activity's at the Golden Gate Highlands National Park:
? Abseiling is on offer at the Wilgenhof Educational Centre. The activity is guided by certified guides. Pre-booking, with a minimum 24 hours' notice, is essential.
? Canoeing is available on the Gladstone Dam for groups of 4 - 20 guests. The activity is guided by experienced guides. Pre-booking, with a minimum 24 hours notice, is essential.
? Game Drives: The Park has two self-drive loops that are tarred and well maintained. Four-wheel drive vehicles are not required for these drives. Remember to observe the speed limit of 30 km/h.
? Games: A selection of court and board games is on offer at the Golden Gate Hotel.
? Hiking: Ribbok Hiking Trail, Cathedral Cave Hike, Wodehouse Hike, Mushroom Rock Hike, Eco-Ravine Hike, Boskloof Hike, Holkrans Hike and Brandwag Rock Hike.
? Horse Riding is available at the Gladstone Stables. Guided rides that are dependent on the weather. Pre-booking is essential. Helmets are provided. Note: Our horses have a rest day on Mondays.
? Swimming: A natural rock pool is situated at the Glen Reenen Rest Camp, where visitors can swim.
